Lawyer, LL.M. Heidelberg University. Working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the last eight years in several capacities. Currently he is Counsellor at the Permanent Delegation of Chile at the OECD, advisor in Trade and Investment issues. Chair of the working Group of the Trade Committee of the OECD.
He was Head of the Services and Investment Division of the General Directorate for International Economic Relations of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Chile. Services and Investment Lead for the TPP negotiations, Co-chair of the Investment Expert Group of APEC and lead for the services and investment group of the Pacific Alliance. Previously he was Head of the OECD division and he was part of Chile’s investment negotiating team in different FTAs negotiations such as, Australia, China, Thailand, Hong Kong and Uruguay.
